About Us

Growing up by the sea, Ethan spent countless hours fishing with his best friend Artem and Artem’s father, Mr. Anatoly. They often discussed the need for a rod that could swivel and follow a big fish during the fight. Many anglers had lost dream catches because their rods couldn’t handle the strain.

In early 2020, Ethan’s skills as a custom rod builder led to a breakthrough: a rod with a swiveling gimbal at the base to follow a fish’s movements. Just like that, the idea for Swivel Buttz was born.

 One day Artem stopped by the tackle shop where Ethan worked. Bursting in excitement, Ethan shared his invention with Artem. The two high school buddies are now business partners, set out to make Swivel Buttz a reality.

In early 2024, Mr. Anatoly heard about the project and jumped at the chance to join. His wisdom and deep industry knowledge have been invaluable in the development of Swivel Buttz.
